AffiPCR® Streptococcus species qPCR Kit

The AffiPCR® Streptococcus Species qPCR Kit is designed for the reliable detection of Streptococcus species in food products and other sample types.

The kit enables the specific detection of Streptococcus DNA through real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), using a FAM-labeled target-specific probe in a single PCR reaction. Detection of target DNA can help verify ingredient authenticity and identify potential food fraud, as well as address related ethical, environmental, and health concerns.

The AffiPCR® Streptococcus Species qPCR Kit contains the essential reagents required for target DNA amplification, except for the samples to be tested. The kit includes qPCR Super Mix, a FAM-labeled primer-probe mix targeting the gene of interest, positive control DNA, negative control DNA, and a HEX-labeled internal PCR control. These components support efficient amplification and facilitate straightforward interpretation of results.
